Our summer is at its peak and it's feeling like everything is about to burn to the end of our world. But just said to a friend that we must try to find a positive thing out of this harsh temperature. There must be something romantic even in this heat!
How about getting out to walk the bush like this?
I did the other day with my staff as the sun was going down - making our way all through the forest at the back of The Vana. Super hot but not humid at all, and (surprisingly) therefore hardly any bugs. I actually found joy - saw species of birds, mushrooms, wild flowers in bright yellow, purple and orange, wild berry fruits - everything appeared to be brown and less than fresh green we are used to...
When I was a kid growing up loving outdoor adventures, going out to a forest in extreme weather would be a true test of toughness - physically and mentally.
