Asalha Bucha Day

Happy Asalha Bucha on this full moon day of the eighth Lunar month!

The Buddhist Lent has begun and for Budhhists it's the time to reflect on “setting into motion the wheel of dhamma” that is encapsulated in the four noble truths: the suffering (dukkha); suffering is caused by craving (tanha); there is a state (nibbana) beyond suffering and craving; and, finally, the way to nirvana is via the eightfold path.
