A post-lunch walk on the misty road in Doi Suthep mountain (that is officially located in the city municipality) like this can happen easily.


Season change is now signaled in the North but the transitional moments from day to dusk at Andaman coast is always impressive.

Many national parks in Thailand are currently closed so to allow our forests the time to rest and regenerate during this rainy season.

But not long to go, the highland plateau like Phu Kradung of Loei province would reopen for visitors. Crisp waterfalls and maple leaf...

Rainy season in Thailand but the passing clouds and mist on the Maerim-Samoeng mountain range make it even more atmospheric.

Here - somewhere in a far north-western province of Mae Hongson. A walk over this bamboo bridge through the green paddy fields with the glowing light like this is easy yet unforgettable enough!

Phang Nga Bay during rainy season. It's only greener, with brighter sky and fresher air after some random storms that's all!

I'd been telling people about the changes of colours of my favourite bay in the Andaman Sea: Tiffany blue during the dry months and emerald green during the south-west monsoon months.

Here's the two pictures of this shallow, almost enclosed, lagoon.
